This golden mare has a touching story. She was named after two special friends of Stal Heijden. Ronald and Angelique, they knew as first persons about the birth of  this special little wonder. It has nothing to do with the color named Roan as well. Her long legs and fabulous neck made her win halter classes, but the sweetest character as well and willing to learn and listen, made her an almost unbeatable showmanship horse as well. Roan will be an amazing broodmare and splendid assett to anyone's breeding program.

Roan gave everything what our farm could dream of. She gave our first successes in the showring, she learned us eveyrthing we know today. She was the sweetest mare one could wish. Unfortunately she had an extremely heavy delivery where Roan and her foal did not survive. We wish her all the best running freely in the evergreen pastures, with all her friends who ever lived at Farm Little Creek.
